Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what Snapnote collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
The short version: No bot joins your meetings. Your submitted text is only used to generate the note — never to train models. Your notes stay in your browser.
1. What we collect
- Content you submit: the text or speech you paste or dictate, sent to generate your note.
- Usage data: a daily count of how many notes you generate (to enforce free-plan limits), keyed to your IP address.
- Payment data: handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We do not store your card details.
2. How we use it
- To generate the structured note you requested.
- To enforce fair-use limits on the free plan.
- To process payments and provide support.
3. What we never do
- We never join or record your meetings.
- We never use your submitted content to train AI models.
- We never scrape your calendar or email your contacts.
- We never sell your personal data.
4. Where your notes live
Notes and your recent history are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). There is no server-side copy of your note history. Clearing your browser data removes them.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle. Paddle handles taxes and compliance as Merchant of Record. See Paddle's privacy policy for how it processes payment data.
6. Your choices
- You can clear your notes at any time by clearing your browser storage.
- You can contact us to request deletion of any data we hold.
- You can cancel a paid subscription at any time through Paddle.
